![]() Don’t be fooled by the ‘campaign’ tag as all of them last for just about an hour each. There are three campaigns in Tales of Valor: ‘Tiger Ace’, ‘Causeway’ and ‘Falaise Pocket’. I mean, all of the balancing could’ve been done by way of a free patch, but it’s good that the developers included it in the game itself. Relic has also been hard at work balancing the game’s multiplayer component, and with Tales of Valor, you’ve got the most complex rock-paper-scissors equation. It works either way, and if you’ve got an earlier version of CoH, you can still participate in online/LAN skirmishes against others who’ve got ToV. It also seamlessly integrates with any previous version of CoH you may have installed, making the campaigns from those games accessible via the opening screen. ‘Stand-alone expansion’? Seriously? Well, yes, because Tales of Valor functions on its own with three short campaigns, three new multiplayer modes and two new units for every faction in the game. Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor is a stand-alone expansion for Relic Entertainment’s 2006 blockbuster RTS title, Company of Heroes.
